We are proud to say that we developed one of the unique programs for grades 1 to 5 in whole Canada. Our goals were to create a program where students could develop.
Grades 9 - 12
Discovery Academy is an accredited private school that has the authority to grand ontario secondary school credits toward OSSD (Ontario secondary school diploma). Please see our accreditation page.

Discovery Academy’s English as a Second Language (ESL) program is consistent with Ontario’s curriculum requirements.

I am taking Calculus at this school and I have had no problems to date. My teacher is fantastic and he truly cares about helping my classmates and I understand the material, and he also has our best interests in mind. The location is extremely accessible and the course is reasonably priced. The administration are all extremely responsible and the principal does a good job of keeping track of important dates as well as attendance and payment details. I highly recommend this school to any high school students who are looking to take courses outside of their normal day schools.Tyler Y.

My experience at Discovery has been thoroughly enjoyable. The small class sizes compared to public school are very beneficial to student learning and participation. The teachers at Discovery really know what they are talking about, and genuinely care about their students. They are always there to assist students with anything they need, and tutoring is also provided free of charge on the weekend. You can really tell that this school cares about the success of its students. If I ever had any problems or concerns, administration was extremely helpful. I did Grade 12 Advanced Functions this summer, and I greatly enjoyed my time at Discovery Academy High School. The teachers are extremely helpful and do anything they can to assure that their students succeed in the course. The class size was very small, and this was very beneficial to all students as it allowed us to have more one on one time with the teachers. While taking Advanced Functions at Discovery Academy, I was not only able to fully grasp the concepts of the course, but also had the guidance of amazing teachers who are very qualified and truly enjoy helping students achieve the best they could. Discovery Academy was beneficial to me because of their small class sizes and one on one help from the teachers and staff. They accommodated to every students needs and did everything in their power to help their students succeed. I took data management there and am proud to say that I did very well. Once in a while, I found some aspects of the school unprofessional such as teachers going off topic and the fact that there was no official end date for the course until the last few weeks however, their one on one help and accommodations make up for that. I took Grade 12 Advanced Functions at Discovery Academy, which proved to be a great decision in advancing my academic career. The class' teacher was thorough in her explanations and the other staff members/management I encountered were both welcoming and informative. The teacher was happy to help if there was any confusion with the course material. The classrooms were clean and equipped with air conditioners, providing an ideal learning environment. The Online progress report provided by Discovery Academy, had all of my information regarding homework completed, evaluation marks and my overall average. My son has been going to the Discovery Academy high school for two years in a row. Their programs are great for high school level and teachers are very knowledgeable, supportive and helpful. Management team is also very involved in students progress and provide support when required. I really loved how students and parents get access to the Progress Report! It was very detailed and I was able to follow my son's progress and know how he was doing in the program while he was taking it and the report was updated on daily basis. My daughter has already taken two courses in Discovery Academy high school and I wanted to share our positive experience about this school. I really liked that parents are involved into the student's progress what is quite different in regular public schools. Discovery Academy Online Progress Reporting System is great, you can check it in anytime and it is updated every day. The academic programs are great in this school and teachers are very knowledgeable, supportive and helpful. Management team is also very involved in students’ progress and provide support when required.

My experience at Discovery Academy was tremendously enhancing. I was given the opportunity to study grade 12 university level English with an excellent teacher. The friendly environment in the school made my learning experience very enjoyable. The warm atmosphere was shared between the students themselves as well as with the teachers and management. Also, I met many new people at Discover that i will keep in touch with even after i finish the course.

This is an amazing academy that I highly recommend to anyone interested in pursuing further education in the mathematical studies, the science fields, english literature or geography. The teachers are understanding and accommodating to help their students reach their full potential in a timely matter. Discovery Academy was an amazing experience and I am so thankful that I was given the opportunity to take a Grade 12 English course with them during the summer.
