Our goal

Career orientation

Discovery Academy offers a comprehensive curriculum that enhances student's ability to learn. Our goal is to make sure that our students will succeed in their post-secondary education. We create an environment where they can master their skills to learn. In our day and age the most important tool is ability to learn. In order to achieve that we use various technological and educational techniques.

At that age a student should have some idea what he wants to do next. However, not many people at age 60 know what they want to do in their lives. As a result, we offer an aptitude test where a student will answer various questions that will determine most likely career where he/she will succeed.

Curriculum

Discovery Academy follows the curiculum of Ministry of education. However, we do offer extended curiculum in subjects such as mathematics, sciences (physics, chemistry and biology) and english. The extended curiculum is intended to cover some essential topics that student will need in their post-secondary education. Every course is a 110 hours of instructional time plus 10 laboratory experiments where applicable.

Clubs and extracurricular activities

At Discovery Academy we always try to enhance our educational program with social aspect as well. Please check our after school clubs and activities.

At Discovery Academy, we prepare young people to make a head start on their future pursuits, and make a difference in the world we live in by giving them the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and achieve their full physical, creative, and academic potential.
